What you can do.
Choose your sheets
Browse arrows, mathematics, punctuation, currency, emoji, Greek, IPA, and more. Enable additional modern and historical scripts in Settings.
Stay with your writing
The palette lives in the system tray and opens beside your pointer. Enter inserts the selection and closes the panel; Esc dismisses it.
Keep a palette open
Pin the panel for repeated mouse selections, or use Shift+Enter for one insertion without closing it.
Favourites that follow use
The favourites sheet tracks the characters you pick most. Once populated, it becomes the first tab you see.
Make it your shortcut
Rebind the global hotkey, choose direct typing or clipboard-paste insertion, and turn character sheets on or off without restarting.
GETTING STARTED
A few steps to get going.
- Install and run Unicodifier; it appears in the system tray.
- Press Ctrl+Alt+U, then type a name such as ‘arrow’ or a codepoint such as ‘U+2192’.
- Use the arrow keys to select a character and press Enter to insert it.
Character coverage depends on your installed fonts. Some historical scripts need an additional font. The source supports macOS and Linux, but the downloads here are Windows builds.
